SALT (Sharing and Learning Together) and Light

SALT groups:

Run for a defined amount of time. 4 weeks, 6 weeks or a term. It is simple to run and can be about anything. People share interests, activities or may just want to explore an aspect of faith or social justice.
A SALT group could be making something, cooking something or learning something. It could be 6 weeks on Exodus, 4 weeks making a holding cross, ‘how do I pray?’ for a month or playing football or cycling for a specified time.
They are designed to be open across church and the community too so that they are something that you can invite friends to.

Light Groups:

A Light group consists of 3 to 4 people usually same gender or can be a couple with 2 others, who meet regularly in houses, pubs or cafés. Light groups are based on faith practices like generosity, prayer, and service and look at particular aspect of faith together.

If you are interested in being part of a Light group or setting one up with others please have a chat with Kirsten or Ray
