Sharing Christ's Love in this Community
We are a friendly welcoming local Christian community that is seeking to live out our faith in our everyday lives. We try to live in a way that follows Jesus and seeks to do what he did. We aim to bless and help everyone we meet and to show God’s love and compassion to all people. A group of ordinary people who worship and love an extraordinary God.

Stoke Community Pantry is a community pantry run out of St Peter's for those in need of an emergency package of food and toiletries - we can also provide advice and referrals for longer term support following this.
The pantry is open Tuesdays 10am-12.30pm and Saturdays 10am-12noon. Check out the facebook page below for any updates.
Prayer is our foundation, and we have a lot of things to pray for, particularly with our building project gathering steam. We need every member of our various congregations to pray each week with another person and we will give you a new prayer every week. This may sound daunting perhaps, but it can be done in person, over the phone or just by arranging to pray at the same time as another person. The other person does not even have to be a St Peter's Church member. If you are new or not sure how to pray, please ask and we will get some resources for you.
We would like you to keep a record of anything that comes to mind when praying. Please jot thoughts down on a piece of paper and keep it safe (specific slips for this can be found in the prayer section of the weekly news sheet and envelopes for collecting the slips can be found in the church narthex). If you would like to keep your responses electronically you can download a word template below, or contact the office if you require another format. We will be asking for your feedback at some point.
Week commencing Sunday 24/3/24:
Heavenly Father, we thank you so much that Weyfield School was able to come to Easter Encounter,
And for all that the children were able to learn and experience.
Please continue to bless them and their families.
We pray for many to return on Easter Day, to celebrate the wonder of your resurrection.
May the activities that day, for all ages and levels of faith, give each of us a freshness and joy,
as we respond to you, Lord Jesus, our saviour.
And as we worship you in the quieter services of Holy Week,
may your Spirit touch our hearts, with a deeper understanding of your sacrificial love.
Amen
